This is about Navan cinema who recently made a huge new change and we were so excited thinking they might upper their game and make sure it is being fully accessible to everyone in the community.
Oh no, they have still not include subtitles/captions for those who are deaf or has hearing loss..what was the point of becoming very excited...we as usual got let down or left behind.
Every single person who walked in or asked via Facebook etc, each of us received the same answer which was: very sorry we cannot do anything about it..come back in future....we are left with disappointment...why should we feel this way.
Why cant we have the same access as other people who loves going to cinema to watch film and enjoy themselves with their families and friends. We are missing out big time!
It is clear that this is a direct discrimination and that makes us feel we are less favourably comparing to others.
Enough is enough. It's time for Navan cinema to consider our feelings.

I have always wanted to go to cinema and can't go as there is no subtitles how would I follow or enjoy it, it is so frustrating. We should have same equality as hearing people they have everything and we deaf people don't . Come on time now to think of deaf people who have been let down thousands time enough is enough.
I think it's very unfair that I can't ask my friend, who is deaf, to come to the cinema with me for an enjoyable time, please please make this cinema accessible For Everyone.
Equal access...all over Ireland, please include Navan cinema, I cannot believe it's hasn't been provided subtitles. Its time NOW. There's is a great Deaf community in Navan...I'm willing to travel there to join my friends to see the films together! Family & friend's time together is precious plus support your cinema in Navan. Its all win - win situations
It's 2019, subtitles are available in a lot of cinemas since the last 20 years, arc what's your excuse.
Am deaf myself and It not fair for us co meath deaf people who have to travel outside meath to get cinema subtitles access and there one in Ashbourne so why can’t navan do the same
Please think about deaf community need every right to have access subtitles at cinema.just like any hearings peoples can go in and enjoy.What about deafs peoples?? Thanks

Would go more often if cinema have subtitles. Need it as I know when someone is talking in the background of the movie and can't make out what they are saying!
