Clairmont Road serves thousands of motorists each day and traffic on Clairmont has increased significantly over the years. Motorists know too well the driving hazards caused by the lack of turn lanes – no place for cars to wait to turn, drivers trying to get around stopped cars, traffic backing up. Accidents regularly result.

To help ensure the safety of our entire community – students, parents, neighbors, faculty, passing motorists – Cliff Valley School is pursuing a permit to construct a new campus entrance, including safety improvements on Clairmont Road. The new entrance will be safe, environmentally sound, attractive, and will include turning lanes on Clairmont Road that will benefit all Clairmont motorists by improving safety and traffic flow.

The Georgia DOT has reviewed and recommended Cliff Valley's plan. The campus entrance and turning lanes will be funded entirely by Cliff Valley School. Clairmont Road motorists will enjoy increased safety at zero taxpayer expense.
