we actually pulled it off and the poa agreed to move forward with the yacht club renovation. i am seriously blown away by the support and cant wait to see what this means for our town. thanks for staying with me on this one.

Bella Vista is a GREAT Town....Let's Make it the BEST!!
A committee of volunteers has been formed, seeking to bring a broader and better dining and entertainment scene to Bella Vista,............but we need your help.
The Bella Vista P.O.A. needs to know that we have many people with the same desires. This e-petition will serve to inform the P.O.A. and ignite positive "Quality of Life" changes in Bella Vista.
Here is the petition to the P.O.A.:
This committee, consisting of at least six (6) P.O.A. members will:
(1.) Work on solutions and ideas to re-open the Yacht Club on Loch Lomond to offer quality dining, entertainment, private parties and special occasion events. This would be the only year-round, full-service dinner and dancing lakeside restaurant / entertainment facility, with facilities for private parties and receptions. The Yacht Club could be the most unique experience for dining and entertainment in all of Northwest Arkansas.
(2.) Determine if the operator of Country Club Restaurant facility is offering quality dining and entertainment on a consistent basis. This gorgeous facility was designed by E. Faye Jones and has a panoramic golf course view; could be a "Gem" if operated properly.
This petition serves to ask the P.O.A. for action and support on the above issues. We have everything we need to have a vibrant community; but these facilities need help and attention. Otherwise, Bella Vista just becomes a bedroom community, rather than a "true town"....with a spirit all it's own.
Healthy towns have places for people to eat, meet and mingle. Live music is also a part of any vibrant community. Since Bella Vista does not have a "Downtown"; our P.O.A. facilities are very important. These establishments are "OPEN to the PUBLIC" and represent the community of Bella Vista to anyone in our community. We must work with what we have to make Bella Vista the BEST PLACE IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS.
We need many Bella Vista P.O.A. members to agree with and sign this petition. The P.O.A. will act......we just need your support. ( If you are not a P.O.A. member, but might be renting a home in Bella Vista, or otherwise would frequent these establishments....please sign in support and state in the comments box, your interest or why you are signing.)

I would like to see a place where we can go to have a glass of wine and a nice meal without the loud music/sports. I loved the beach idea and making the beach club with the pavilion to rent.
Would love to see the country club back to classy. Tacky doesn't cut it in Bella Vista. We used to travel 3 states to be there on Thanksgiving. Now we won't go and it's in our back yard.
We have long talked about need a place like the PressRoom in Bentonville, There is no place to meet and have coffee and discuss things with buisness assositas. I think haveing a place that is open to all and not just property owners is a great idea.
What about a hotel and convention center. Could boost income for Bella Vista and keep property taxes from rising.
This is something I've been hoping for since I moved here a year ago. I remember when these facilities were open and thriving, since my parents lived here 15-20 years ago. I would LOVE to see the Yacht Club reopened!
Would like to see the yacht club reopened. We do need more dining options and entertainment in BV.

We moved to Bella Vista two yrs ago and love the community! It would be great if we did have more eating establishments in this area. Especially if they overlooked the scenery and lakes.
