Lackawanna residents deserve access to a safe affordable public swimming pool. With rising Summer temperatures and limited recreational options, many families especially those with children or without transportation are left without a way to cool off or stay active. Other nearby cities like Buffalo and Hamburg offer public pools, yet Lackawanna has none. We are asking Mayor Lafallo and city officials to invest in our community by building or reopening a public pool.
