Your help is needed! Mad Dogs Café of Pacific Beach, CA is a European style casual dining establishment on Emerald Street offering delicious and affordable food to locals and tourists since 2009. Our menu includes European-style sausages and fresh-baked bread in addition to homemade chips, breakfast sandwiches, coffee and tea beverages, and gelato. In the European tradition, we are seeking to offer a limited selection of quality beer and wine. To this end, we have been awarded a California state liquor license through the lottery process. However, Mad Dogs needs your help because there has been resistance from an outspoken minority that is seeking to restrict the availability of alcohol in the Pacific Beach community.
Please add your name below to tell local and state officials that you want the CHOICE to enjoy a pint of beer or glass of wine with your meal at Mad Dogs Café.
I would like to express my support for Mad Dogs Café of Pacific Beach to offer a limited selection of beer and wine to their customers in accordance with their already state-approved liquor license. I am respectfully requesting that community leaders and law enforcement officials of Pacific Beach wholeheartedly endorse Mad Dogs Café's liquor license because I believe that the proprietors of Mad Dogs Café will handle the serving of alcoholic beverages in the most professional manner in compliance with all rules and regulations surrounding the use of this license.
I provide my support to Mad Dogs Café, and I believe in the free and responsible enjoyment of alcohol in the Pacific Beach community according to the laws of the State of California.

The momentum we have built makes it clear that the local bureaucrats cannot ignore us any longer. This small group of busybodies trying to sabotage a neighborhood staple is finally being exposed for the obstructionists they are.

NIMBYs ruining everything again. Leave this place alone.
Just let them have the permit. Its a nice cafe not a dive bar.
Mad Dogs is the best spot in PB. Let them serve a beer with lunch. Its not that complicated.
So sick of the city saying no to small business owners. Give them the license already.
Keep PB open for business. We want a glass of wine with dinner on emerald st simple as that.
Mad dogs and Englishmen need beer and wine

Love their breakfast sandwiches. A mimosa would go perfect with that. Who is complaining about this???
