We, the undersigned, would like the current playground outside the Poppleton Community Centre upgraded. It has been years since the playground has had new equipment and it is now looking extremely tired, including the surfaces around it. There is a growing population of families in the area and the playground has become increasingly busy over the past couple of years. It is a very good location next to an ever increasingly popular school and therefore gets a lot of use. The current equipment is not incredibly exciting and we feel an upgrade would be money well spent. It is the only playground in the village and is used by all ages. The age of the equipment raises safety concerns and it is within our interests to make sure there is a safe, inspiring and fun area for our children to play in. Please give us your support.
