Loopnet has decided to raise our subscription prices. The new prices are confirmed to be standard across the board to all Brokers. There is a slight discount on a Co-Star account but Loopnet pricing is static.
Pricing confirmed 10/6/2014 and rolling out:
Premium Listing - Cost per month
1 - $69.95
4 - $139.95
10 - $299.95
25 - $625.00
50 - $1200.00
100 - $2300.00
150 - $3300.00
$169 per month per associate in the company for premium search you will not have access to search non-premium listings.
We as Professionals with large, strong organizations behind us, can come together and push back. This is our data and we DO NOT need Loopnet to run our business nor control the forum on which we market our real estate.
Let's let Loopnet know we mean business and we will not be held hostage to their price increase. Sign the petition!!!

The feedback from brokers across the country is confirming what we already knew. We are currently scouting alternative platforms to replace their grip on our listings.

LoopNet has highjacked our industry forcing alternative and competing platforms out of business, while laying claim to our marketing material stating by posting on their site, they retain the rights to the informaiotn we provide them with, then sell back to us as the agents.
Yes, I do feel that Loopnet is taking advantage of a clear path to monopolizing the commercial MLS business. Once partnered with CoStar, it was all over for real estate professionals. This gouging will only drive competition to grow at a faster pace.
agreed we are being gouged. Just received notice my new rate will be over $3450/year. currently paying $1007. And most of the time I cannot see more than half of the listings!
Our firm just left them today..... They have absolutely NO value without listings. This is borderline antitrust issues. There ONLY reason they aren't guilty of that is that they own the other largest competitor... This was a very poor choice on their part.
As of today, $244.95/mo. for premium search. I would love to see CRE get together regionally and set up our own MLS similar to residential RE and cut Costar/Loopnet out for good.

Todays search engines will find your listing, we have listed a few on Loopnet and posted the others on free sites, the free sites have generated more leads. Loopnet is forcing us to find alternative methods.
