I'm looking to start an NJROTC program at longwood highschool. NJROTC stand for Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. NJROTC is a program for student in grades 9-12 it is taught by retired Navy - Marine Corps and Coast Guard Officers, NJROTC teacher citizenship and leadership development, maritime heritage, and the fundamentals of naval operations, seamanship, navigation and meteorology. Students who participate in this program venture out make new friends and participate in marksmanship training, drill competition, field meets, flights and visits to Naval academies. You can even take a cruise on a Navy ship over the summer.

My son is rly interested in the navy and this would give him a huge head start. PLEASE bring this to our school!!!

This would be awesome for the kids at Longwood. Way better than just sitting around after school. Hope it happens.
