We oppose the Longhill School Planning application (BH2013/02593) to Brighton and Hove planning department on the following grounds:
We will be subjected to light, sound and traffic pollution at evenings and weekends. The site is situated in a steep valley which is a natural amphitheatre which amplifies the slightest of sounds. The valley also causes several roads to overlook the proposed fourteen 6.7 meter floodlights.

I have been reading through the comments and it is clear that many people share the same genuine worries about the noise and light levels in our valley. This is all happening because of your willingness to speak up about what our neighborhood needs.

Ridiculous idea. The valley amplifies everything you can hear a pin drop at night. Who on earth thought those huge lights were okay for a residential area? 12 Ovingdean Close.
14 floodlights? Are they trying to host a world cup match? Leave our neighborhood alone. 22 Wanderdown Road.

My kids wont be able to sleep with that light beaming through their windows. Totally unacceptable. 8 Meadowview.
