This petition is intended to show how many people are interested in establishing an appropriate off leash Dog Park area in Cache Valley designed specifically to accommodate dogs and their owners. Secondary use as an area designed for animals (specifically dogs & cats) in the region's Emergency Operations Preparedness Plan. Currently there isn't an animal component plan in place within the country or city.
You certainly don't need to own a dog to sign this but we would like to know how many dogs and owners in Logan are in need of an appropriate place to meet.
Providing an appropriate off leash Dog Park promotes responsible dog ownership. This makes for a better community by supporting public health and safety. A Dog Park allows the dogs to socialize and get the exercise and playtime that is not possible while they are on a leash. As dog owners, we know how important this is for the dogs' well being. It also gives dog owners a chance to meet other dog owners and build a sense of community by sharing information while monitoring the dog's interaction.

I am doing an assignment for this issue. I have never been anywhere, where dogs were not allowed at parks, church's, schools, and any public place with grass. Dogs are family too and parks are designed for families, kids, and dogs.
My golden retriever needs space to run around that isnt my tiny backyard. This town has nothing for dog owners.
YES PLEASE. tired of getting yelled at for letting my dog off leash at the school field.
we need this so bad. there is literally nowhere safe to take my pup to socialize without driving 40 mins away.
good idea. dogs need exercise too just like kids do. hope this happens soon.
