IN DECEMBER OF 2014 BOBBY HRELJAC RESIGNED AS TREASURER OF THE LIVELY GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB, LEAVING THE POSITION VACANT. AT WHICH POINT THE BOARD DECIDED THEY WOULD ASK AL HOLM TO TAKE HIS PLACE AND VOTED HIM INTO THE TREASURER POSITION. AT NO POINT WAS THE MEMBERSHIP MADE AWARE OF THE VACANT POSITION OR THAT AL HAD BEEN APPROACHED TO FILL IT UNTIL THEY VOTED HIM IN AND HE WAS ON THE BOARD ONCE AGAIN. IT IS THE BOARDS POWER TO VOTE SOMEONE IN TO FILL A VACANT POSITION FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE TERM. BUT IT DOES NOT SAY THEY CAN HAND PICK WHO THEY ASK TO RUN AND NOT LET ANY OTHER CANDIDATES KNOW OF THE AVAILABLE POSITION. I BELIEVE THIS WAS DONE FOR OTHER REASONS OTHER THAN WHAT IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE COURSE. THIS WAS ALSO NOT A VERY TRANSPARENT ACT AS OUR NEW PRESIDENT SAID HE WOULD ACT. I BELIEVE AL SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THE BOARD AND ANOTHER VOTE HAPPEN BY THE BOARD WITH ANY INTERESTED MEMBERS RUNNING FOR THE POSITION.

We, the undersigned, are concerned members who urge our Board of the Lively Golf and Country Club toremove Al holm from his position on the board. Followed by are vote by the board members once the membership has been notified of the open Treasurer position and other members have had the opportunity to run for the position.
