Did you know?

Of the 6 school districts in Adams County, Littlestown is the only one that does not offer middle school students the opportunity to play soccer for their school.

Our boys & girls who play soccer deserve the opportunity to represent their school & community with their love of the game and excellent sportsmanship.

Please help our young boys, girls and our community by signing this petition. You have the option to sign it anonymously or include your name.

I want to thank everyone who has come to past board meetings to speak on behalf of our players and those who have assisted with our physical petition.

Updates

I spent the afternoon reviewing the district policy because our kids deserve the same opportunities as students in every other Adams County school. Post the link to this petition on your Facebook page right now. Email your school board representative today and tell them it is time to add soccer to our middle school sports programs.

The momentum behind this campaign is undeniable and it proves that our community is ready for a middle school soccer program. Post this petition link on your Facebook page today and email your district representatives to tell them it is time for a change.

As a previous Lady Bolt soccer player, I can see the benefits a middle school soccer team has on the Littlestown soccer program. I believe it will help develop a stronger soccer program for the Littlestown School District.

We have a football program that partners with the school from K-6, allowing players to start in 7th with the school. The same opportunities should exist for soccer & baseball.

as a parent of a graduating, Littlestown, Senior who played soccer since the age of 5 in Littlestown and Fairfield AYSO and also Hanover Club. It should be a program in middle school. It could develop young boys and girls into even better student athlete's. This is not just a football town.

This is long, long over due. The soccer system is woefully inadequate to support the development of players and coaches moving into HS soccer. Since 2005 the HS has had only two winning seasons. Soccer was established in Littlestown in 1924 and subsequently ended in 1937 when the Football program began. It didn't begin again until 2005. Besides all coaches being inadequately paid in Littlestown, highly trained and qualified coaches do not want to coach here because there is no system below the HS level to support player and coaching growth and development. That translates to many non-winning seasons, average or lower players and poorly trained coaches who are able to compete at the HS level.

The only school in the county without a middle school team. Why are we behind the other districts in doing this? We have so many children in this community playing through AYSO and other clubs. We need to help grow and foster our high school program by adding this program.

There are 32 kids signed up for U14 soccer and 26 signed up for U12 soccer at the Littlestown AYSO this Spring. That doesn't factor in competing soccer leagues. There's no question the kids want to play.
