We, the undersigned, residents in the County of Lake and State of Illinois, do hereby petition that a traffic signal be placed at the intersections of Green Bay Road (IL 131), Kenosha Road (Lake County W32) and West 29th Street in Beach Park, Illinois. We, the undersigned, are aware that increased traffic and congestion in the area creates hazardous situations. All vehicles, but especially large commercial vehicles and numerous school buses that travel this route daily, have difficulty turning from both 29th Street and Kenosha Road onto Green Bay Road. Many unnecessary and dangerous risks are being taken and traffic backups occur.
