The owners of Woodlake Corporate Park would like to petition the Village of Lombard to add a traffic light at one of the entrances to the park. We value the opinions of our tenants and feel that it is important to add this safety measure when entering and exiting the park due to the lack of visibility and high speed that travels along Route 53.

Safety is certainly an issue... it only gets worse with weather. A light would be the best solution, programmed to only change when traffic is present from Woodlake. If not. .then provide a public safety officer between 3pm - 5:30pm like Oak Brook does on Butterfield/22nd
Thank You for taking interest in this matter. I work in Woodlake Corp Park and battle to just make a right hand turn onto Rt 53 everyday. Ive seen wrecks and Ive almost been hit myself more than once. A traffic light is most important for the safety of everyone using this route.
I am in favor of a traffic signal at one of the entrances of Woodlake Corporate Park.. I was involved in a serious car accident at one of the entrances a year ago this month
I typically wait until after 6:00 PM to leave my office to avoid the traffic and safety concerns of leaving this business park between 4:30 and 5:45. This is time away from family that only a traffic light can change.
Last fall, I almost hit a child crossing the street on his bike. I saw a van flipped over at that entrance, and it still haunts me. I use that entrance two times a day, five to seven days a week.
Please, for the love of chips and dip during the superbowl! Install a traffic signal.
Adding a traffic light would be one less stress in our lives.

I am an employee of Aspect Software and during rush hour the lack of a traffic light makes existing the corporate park extremely dangerous. A traffic light that only changes when cars are waiting to leave the corporate park would reduce the chance of an accident.
