We are campaigning about the lack of life skills being taught in schools. As a group of teenage students we believe that the lack of life skills being taught could effect our future as we are not prepared for the tasks we will have to deal with in adulthood. Primarily, we would like the change to happen within our school, however we recognise that this is a nationwide issue and we would like other students across the UK to have the same access to fundamental learning that is necessary for their futures. Please take time to sign our petition and help us bring about vital change in our school, local community and ideally nationwide.

The growth of this initiative has reached a point where local district administrators have agreed to a meeting. We are currently drafting a formal proposal to outline the specific curriculum adjustments we expect to see implemented.

YES!! finally someone said it. i wish we got taught this stuff when i was in school instead of useless subjects that i never used again.
Shame students should have to take this initiative and not the teaching staff but let's hope that change happens and students leave full time education with a better understanding of what life is and a better ability to make practical use of their qualifications.
Fully support this. Our children are not ready to deal with many issues.

Instead of learning about poetry, we should learn about mortgages and taxes!!

Honestly it is ridiculous that kids leave school and don't even know how to pay a bill or understand taxes. Schools need a wake up call.
