Hello, Because of zoning in Harrison township. This place needs to be zoned back to business . It is now zoned residential because the place was closed and sold . We need this opened up again for our neighbors. Northridge has been through alot these past few years with the tornados. And then with krogers closing then the pandemic our children and school. A Lot of our families could Benefit from having a locally owned store. A place our kids can. And Grandkids can get a deli sandwich, a cold soda and yes candy. I know I feel safer with our children being able to walk to their neighborhood store That would be close to our homes and convenient. A place that has cereal or milk .A place where I can send my child to pick up some eggs. We need this. I'm asking for people to sign this petition so it can be used in the public hearing on Monday . March 8th 2021 at 7:00 pm. This is for the woodland hills Platt neighbors .please sign if you agree on reopening this market/grocery store. And would love this to happen . We need signatures. Thank you to all our neighbors and families in Northridge woodland hills platt.

This will boost our local neighborhood economy and give honest job opportunities to those struggling and needing work.

This is absolutely something our community needs especially after all the loss and closing of our only local grocery store . As a resident of 30+ yrs I vote YES to the new ownership and re-open of the late Bill's/Bud's market store Sincerely the Watkins family

This store was my childhood memories, even my kids had the joy of walking to this place when they was at grandma's house. This location was always convenient for all the kids. This would be a great asset to Northridge after the tornados took so many stores from us.

we need a neighborhood store we can walk to and our children can go to without being on a main road. As a child I walked to this same location for candy and sodas

The neighborhood needs this market as many resident are elderly or have limited transportation available. Foul weather hampers their ability to travel only a few miles. Northridge needs more businesses that are not auto related. The market is ideally located on two main roads in the center of the district.

We live within walking distance of the store and it would make getting a few grocery items much easier than having to go to Walmart or Kroger. We support rezoning for the business to operate.

We bought our first house on Woodland Hills Blvd and lived there for many years. I know how much that area could benefit from having the old Bill’s Market (later Bud’s Market) reopened. The fact that Northridge is now a food dessert is shameful & for people without transportation, this little grocery store could be absolutely vital. Bill’s was a place to see neighbors & a life saver when we were out of milk, eggs, etc. Our nieces & nephews are grown now & still have happy memories of walking to Bill’s for an ice cream on a warm summer day. That little market was a big part of daily life for many people, including those who worked in the area & stopped in for a great deli sandwich & a cold soda. It could be again. This is a great opportunity, Harrison Township! That lot has been zoned for business for over 50 years that I know of. What is going to happen on that lot if the market doesn’t reopen? The continued deterioration of what once was a quaint, middle class neighborhood? Harrison Township, sadly, already has enough of that. I’m very disappointed at the lack of business rebuilt after the tornadoes almost 2 years ago. Let’s give this new business & the good people of this area a chance! Maybe you could help out with some tax abatement or someone in your administration could find these lovely young people who are willing to invest & work in the township a business development grant? That would be great. Please throw this area a life line. Thank you.
