The NEP board continues to ignore our concerns while they protect their own interests at the expense of our children. I have heard from so many of you about the blatant disrespect and favoritism rotting this organization from the inside out. We are not backing down until those in power are held accountable for this mess.

The board thought they could keep running this park into the ground while we stayed quiet. This surge of support proves they were dead wrong and now they have no choice but to face the mess they created.

the board needs to understand that Cheer is just as important as football. our girls practiced 5 days a week without fail and was at every game to cheer those little boys on. I find it highly offensive that our so called board was refusing to let them have their playoffs which was the competitions to compete in and the one the parents paid for. but one of the biggest things was the horrible and nasty way they treated the cheer coordinated. this board was vicious and deliberate with the hateful attacks on her and the cheer program. they need to be removed immediately.
I agree! I have never expected to see grown men (from the board) disrespect women like I saw at one of the cheer meetings. I was disgusted! And for the boys, how sad for some to have to practice all week just to watch the coaches kids or friends of their kids being able to play? Something is wrong with that picture. Its supposed to be all volunteer. So why such a power trip for some? Its just sad.

I won't cast all the blame on coaches. I opted out toward the end because of some patents as well. During the Bellview fiasco, I heard the most disgusting comments from some parents in the stands. I couldn't allow my son to be a part of that hate-filled environment. I lack words for what I heard the male coach say, sorry "scream" to the Bellview woman who was causing problems . Shame on him. He is lucky he is alive. I could handle my son not playing- that is a lesson every sport has to teach. However, hate isn't something I want my child around .

I refuse to be anonymous. I withdrew my son, and myself as assistant coach because I saw clear signs, and witnessed specific incidents of "winning is everything" attitude. Playing to win is important in any sport, but if coaches can't offer new players some fraction of the commitment those kids give to the team, then they have set truly dishonorable examples of leadership for these young men to follow.
