Ms Dorothy Washington is a woman from Bradenton which resides within Manatee County Florida. On 11/12/19 she was arrested for loitering. Ms Dorothy has sold off most of her possessions and now chooses to be homeless so that she can live out her dream. That dream is to enroll at the University of Florida, then travel to Africa to help those less fortunate. It is a travesty that someone that takes nothing from society, is condemned for living their dream. This petition is not for money; it’s to help Ms Dorothy be free of the chains of negative societal opinions. As a community we need to support Ms Dorothy and help her live her dream simply by just waving at her and smiling. She has such an uplifting story.
