We are in high school, we should've treated as young adults and if we have our phones it shouldn't be an issue..unless it is getting in the way of our grades and what we're doing in class. All we need is a chance.

It doesn't seem to be very helpful, and they're so relentless. They've taken people's kindles before school starts and they were obviously reading. Having our phones out especially before school shouldn't spark such a reaction.

The school should be more focused on the students safely getting an education, not in cell phones in students' pockets. To me it seems rediculous to take a student's phone because they are trying to put it away. If they were on it in class then I understand, but just because it's in their hand makes no sense. To me it just shows where the current priorities lie.

If students were allowed to have there phones between classes, break and lunch then it would be less kids getting caught in class for it .

The purpose of having a phone is to get in contact with people. Taking that right away can cause many problems such as students not knowing about deaths, change of plans in vacations/day, and etc.

Kids are always getting their phones taken for obscure reasons like checking time or talking to parents. I also don't see how the school has the right to take our phones, which are our property.

Dec 14, 2016 These rules are ridiculous. The fact that the staff won't even compromise with the students. Atleast hear us out. Your goal is to prepare us for the real world, but yet you're treating us as if we aren't Young adults. Students should be aloud to have their phones: In the morining at breakfast time, at break, lunch, and in between classes

We should be allowed to use our phones before class.
