The petition is quite to the point -I would like Cedar Rapids to start utilizing reflective paint. When there is any kind of weather other than sunshine, the lines almost completely disappear, day or night. Even those of us that drive here every day have issues seeing the lines and it's even worse if you have to travel to a different part of Cedar Rapids that you aren't as familiar with. I also know that tourists have trouble as well, from a conversation that I overheard from some weary travelers inside a restaurant. It's not a matter of wanting safer roads; it's a matter of NEEDING safer roads for Cedar Rapids. Please join me in my petition to the city. Thank you.
