Its time that The Edmonton Real Estate board is held accountable for PARAGON. Rather then using Matrix (a program that was developed by the same people who developed MLXCHANGE) the Edmonton real estate board choose PARAGON. PARAGON is a challenging unprofessional looking product that was created to look like MLXCHANGE by people with no real estate background unlike MATRIX. MATRIX was implemented by all the other boards in the province of Alberta. PARAGON is not user friendly and has MANY issues and has cost us thousands and thousands of dollars in support and training. The Calgary Real Estate Board implemented MATRIX http://www.corelogic.com/products/matrix-multiple-listing-platform.aspx and the transition was quick and easy. Please sign this petition and then show up at the AGM on January 28th where we will ask to board to be accountable to us after all we employ them. We were never asked which program we would have preferred nor were either of the programs demonstrated to us so we could vote. Please forward this petition on to every realtor you know. Lets get our voice heard!

The feedback I have received from colleagues confirms that the current system causes significant daily frustration. I am currently coordinating with a group of members to ensure our collective concerns are formally presented during the upcoming annual meeting.

The momentum behind this initiative clearly indicates that many professionals within our industry share these frustrations regarding the current software. This level of engagement provides a significant foundation as we prepare to address the board directly.

Extremely NON user friendly. Also there are glitches. I looked up a property by address and the system showed 2 expired listings. I knew there was a sold history and had to actually click "history" on one of the expired listings which then brought up the sold. Nowhere near as user friendly as MLXChange was.
I find this new program very cumbersome and time consuming to work with. My feeling is the Edmonton Real Estate Board wants to protect their territory, but truly... the few realtors who actually list from other boards is not going to do any harm.
I think we should have been given a chance to vote - not simply have them spend our dues without consulting us
I really liked MLXChange.... for every one step in MLX there's at least two in Paragon for the same task!
I have struggled with the changes and continually feel lost and thwarted. Like why doesn't the pdf print all the pages. So many times I have been embarrassed with my client. I can't do anything quickly anymore and I lost all my templates. The only improvement is the client connect.
Horrible to use in its present state. It should never have been released in the condition it is.

Switching to the same system as most of Alberta makes sense as does using a product developed by the makers of MLXCHANGE, a program that has evolved.
