Tom is an amazing person, quiet neighbour, and a friend to many. He currently is being told by regional district to remove his vehicles from his own property in the rural area of pineview. He’s property is well treed and these vehicles can’t be seen from the street, many of his neighbours have said his property is not an eye sore at all. With signing this petition we are hoping that Tom will be allowed to keep his personal property and be left alone on this matter.

If this property was initially purchased without any restrictions then what are they enforcing? how can a land zoning or requirements change and be enforced by Regional District? This has to be due to complaints. Leave us rural property owners alone ... this is not city living or the suburbs, its rural country living. If you don’t like what you see move to town.
There are many homeowners out here that have similar situations. It’s not a danger to the public. I’m not sure when Pineview became less neighbourly, but it is wrong to force this neighbour.
He has lived there many many years. His neighbours know he would help them anytime and they aren't complaining so there shouldn't be an issue with his yard. Good luck Tom
I am in Pineview often and have never seen this property to be an eye sore, there are others that are. This residence is by no means in shambles, everything is kept away from the road view and as the owner if property I believe no one should dictate it's use but me. I believe there are far more important things in the world than concerning yourselves with such matters.
It seems, Tom is well liked by his neighbors. If it is his hobby to work on cars, what is a problem? So just leave him alone. Everybody has some kind of hobby. We live out of town so should be no problem.
There are a LOT of problem properties in Pineview to be worrying about and spending your time dealing with. This mans property is not one of them!
If the neighborhood is ok with the amount of vehicles, and it is not an eyesore, hidden behind trees, then let this man keep his vehicles.

This neighbor needs his car parts as he races them then fixes them upand constantly needs parts on hand. Tom entertains the public with his specialty, and we need this, especially in this time. If you make him cull his collection, he will not be able to continue with this sport. All of his vehicles are hidden from road sight, which is very considerate for his neighbors.
