The bill actually passed and the redistricting process is finally moving into citizen hands. My head is spinning a bit because I honestly thought this would take forever but somehow we did it. Keep your eyes peeled for the new commission rollout because we need to make sure they follow …

I have been spending my nights buried in these redistricting maps and it really just blows my mind how clearly these lines ignore the actual geography of our communities. It is exhausting but I am busy drafting a formal package for the subcommittee and trying to make sense of the feedback you all leave here in the comments because some of these stories about how your votes feel meaningless are just gutting.

I was looking at the progress bar and realized we are almost at one hundred signatures which is honestly a bigger deal than I expected when I first posted this. If you know anyone who hates gerrymandering as much as I do please throw a link their way because I really want to hit that milestone before I send this off.

About time. These guys just draw lines to keep their jobs instead of actually representing us. Stop the gerrymandering now.

It is completely insane that politicians get to pick their own voters. This is a no brainer.
