The school board just confirmed that parents now have the final say on masking for our kids. I am incredibly relieved that our families finally have the freedom to make these personal health choices at home.
By signing this petition, you are showing your support for parents to decide whether or not their children wear masks in school. This will be sent to the Langdon Area School Board prior to their meeting on Tuesday 8/17/2021.
I have been hearing from so many of you who are just as exhausted as I am by these constant restrictions on our children. We are currently preparing to present these signatures to the board members so they cannot ignore the frustration felt by families in our district.

The momentum behind this effort has truly exceeded my expectations and proves how many of our neighbors feel exactly the same way. Seeing this level of support confirms that we deserve a choice in our own children's lives.

As parents along with our kids, masks are to be optional. The politics of masking needs to stop! Our kids are suffering because of it!

Parents should be able to decide on masking kids or not. But if it starts to get bad then school could step in I would think

Parents should have a say in whether their child should wear masks. As a teacher it is very difficult to teach young children while I am wearing a mask and it's difficult for children as well. Kids have been without masks all summer, they have been in all kinds of activities and expecting them to come back to school and wear masks isn't right. Let parents decide.

Parents should have a choice at what goes in or on their children! Enough of the mandates! People who got shots or want to wear the masks, than they have that choice to wear them! There is lots of evidence that proves, that masks don’t help and can cause health issues or even more anxiety. Thank you

No masks. My kiddos had more runny noses, stuffed up, and coughs than they have ever had. It should be up to the parents not schools.

NO MASK MANDATES. Development of cognitive, speech and social skills is severely diminished with masks in place.
