Final supporters
Practical nursing students have been told they are not allowed to wear navy blue scrub pants other than the ones issued because of complaints by the clinical sites, saying they cannot identify students. We have a top and name badge distinguishing us from workers who wear multicolored scrubs. This was not an issue weeks prior. I think that students should be able to wear what fits them appropriately. With this petition, I hope to have nursing students wear navy blue scrub pants of different brands, that fit the student appropriately (not rear end showing, no tight pant on rear end, and no figure hugging scrub pants.) This will be sent up the chain of command at ECPI University appropriately. I hope to have all the nursing students join in on appropriate navy blue scrub pants, regardless of brand.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many nursing students feel the same way about this. This momentum is entirely because of your courage to speak up about what is fair. I am just humbled that so many of you are standing with me on this.

This is a great chance for nursing students to voice their opinion. I want to take advantage of this opportunity to be supportive in the cause and also express my feelings toward the ill fitting ECPI uniform pants.
The scrub pants are very ill fitting and uncomfortable to wear, especially while sitting or bending down. They don’t stay securely fastened around my waist and are also too long. Please consider more options
The school issued pants are my correct size but fit me so terribly that I am uncomfortable during my long lecture days and prohibit me from moving freely during my clinical.
what’s the point of not letting students wear pants that fit them? what are y’all getting out of this?
The pants do not fit in any of the right places. Too long. Too tight in the thighs and HUGE in the waist when you tie them. No way to make them fit correctly.
They fall off no matter how tight I tie them. My butt hangs out.

I agree. The scrub uniform pants are my correct size, but are very uncomfortable while sitting. I feel as long as our pants are navy blue and form fitting, we should be given the freedom of wearing whatever brand is most comfortable.
