It has come down to politics regarding my sister being able to play the game she loves. A 17 year old that not only is an all around player, but made it first team all state as a sophomore is not allowed to play for her town just because she goes to a private school. The coach has decided to not have tryouts and handpick who she wants to play for her based off favoritism and not skill level. For the love of the game please sign and help my sister play.

The exhaustion is setting in but I refuse to let this go while the coaching staff ignores what is right. We are approaching our next target and I need each of you to push this link out to your networks before they think we have gone quiet.

She is a great kid, instructed her at the pitching school! She is a very hard worker and determined to be an elite softball player. Every child deserves a chance, hold a try out, at the very least! Do not discourage children from wanting to do something positive in this world we currently live in. Keep fighting!

it is obvious the losers will be the townfolk . a local girl with high skills level being denied representing them lessons their chance of the pride of a victorious effort by their team. let her play!

This is an outrage!! If you pay taxes in the town, you should be eligible to try out and play for the Rec team in that town. It is all about the children, not politics!!

Let Leah play. She is the most dedicated person I know. She is very passionate about softball. She is on my ironbound team. She has the heart to play like no other. Even when she's injured she plays. Just let her play in the town she grew up in.

This is the same child thats been an active part of this community for years, whether it be girl scouts or coaching and advising the very same girls that she's not allowed to play with? As Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote in the letter from Birmingham Jail "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." This could be YOUR child.

I played for the North Plainfield traveling soccer team while I went to Union Catholic. Why should I have been allowed to play, when she isn't? It's not right.

She should play. Every player, no matter the race, must be given a chance to play.
