Final supporters
We, the students of La Mirada High School, were just told that our new economics teacher Mrs. Souisa will not be offered a position to come back and teach this fall. We are deeply upset that future seniors will not get to experience the joy that Mrs. Souisa brings to this school. She is kind, understanding, and thoughtful. All of her students love her. She is one of the best teachers on campus.
We want the Norwalk-La Mirada School District to hire Mrs. Souisa to teach economics again for the upcoming year.

Mrs. Souisa has changed how I look at my education and I cannot let her leave our classrooms without a fight. We need to reach two hundred and fifty signatures right now to prove to the district that our hallway voices actually mean something. Post this link on your social media accounts so the administration understands that we are not going to be quiet about this loss.

I had Mrs. Siousa as a senior for AP Economics. First semester I had no hope for passing the AP exam and I was completely lost however when I had her as my teacher I was able to understand everything and I am confident that I will pass the exam because the mocks we took demonstrate I have gotten better.
Mrs. Souisa is an amazing, hardworking, an kind teacher who deserves to be at La Mirada. She taught our AP Microeconomics class and led us to success on our AP test. It is because of Mrs. Souisa that i, as well as my classmates, have learned so much about economics.
I had miss souisa as a student teacher for us history and she was great. She was super nice and understanding. She made learning the information more important then just a grade for the student. She always prepared us for test and assignment. I think she is worth keeping
Mrs. Souisa has provided more than just proper lessons lecturing etc she’s also taught me how to apply my skills into the real world and that’s something no other teacher here at LM has taught me.
Mrs. Souisa is an amazing teacher and embodies what a teacher should be caring and thoughtful of the students feelings and what’s going on outside to make the most of what we have inside the classroom and makes the classroom feel like a productive family like setting! Keep her at LM LM loves her!

Here we go again, another high quality teacher passed over due to the lack of vision at our district. Please find a way to keep Mrs. Souisa at La Mirada High School. She has helped our children and especially my daughter enjoy AP economics.
