Maegan can't walk on her own, she uses a wheelchair and support from others. She has CP, she is legally blind, and was tested for Autism and was labeled as "possibly autistic", by the school system. She lives 5 minutes from her "zoned school" and since 1955 students in wheelchairs have been attending THAT school. She was denied entrance, on August 9th 2010. The school system (not her parents) enrolled her at another school. It's a long story...because of this Maegan is not getting the correct education, or rights as a human being, that she is entitled to. She was forced into a class that is not in keeping with her IEP. She is regressing rapidly. Please Sign the petition. She is smart...she deserves the same rights as all other students. Don't allow her to be lost in the system...please stand up for Maegan.
