We, LILA students, signed below, petition the administration to allow Matis Staggs, a LILA student for the last 13 years, to attend the High School Prom on June 11, 2017.
After being together for so many years, we are all leaving this fall to attend universities at various places all over the world, so it would really mean a lot to Matis, if he could share this last rite of passage with all of his friends.
Matis, has been apart of our class since kindergarten. He has volunteered his DJ skills to our school dances for the last 3 years. For us to have a party to celebrate our graduation from High School and not share this special night with him is just not right with us.
Please take a moment to sign and share this to bring more awareness to the situation. Matis deserves to have this night to remember! We only live once! Let the class of 2017 have their right to enjoy their special night together!
