Katie Bialy has had her dreams of going to prom crushed by the principal at Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School in St. Catharines, ON. She was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome in May 2012. EDS is a connective tissue disorder that causes her joints to disconnect at any moment and because of her disease she has only completed 16 of the 30 credits needed to graduate but is completing her education through online courses offered by her school. Katie even inquired about going as a guest of a friend but said her principal would not allow that either. So please, sign my petition so we can try to make this girls dream come true !!
