So Coast Guard week has come around, and a lot of us want to go downtown to go on rides and laugh at the insane amount of tourists. However, the entire experience just spirals downward when we can't share it with our lovely band kids. One does not simply walk into the carnival without them. With the rest of the summer open and full of opportunities for practice, we'd like to allow our favorite band people to get this one day off to hang out with friends. We live in Grand Haven, after all, Coast Guard is the only noteworthy event of the year! One day isn't enough to get the real experience.
