The new owners have officially withdrawn their plans to renovate the Tivoli Tavern. I am grateful that the character of our town center will remain intact thanks to your persistence. We should remain attentive to any future changes while enjoying the space as it exists today.

No. Just, no, never ever. As a former landlord of this amazing establishment, I am horrified to hear about this proposed change. Leave it be, it is the best pub I have ever been in, let alone been lucky enough to manage.
A fabulous pub ,friendly staff a meeting place for friends of all ages .Not another sports bar think of the older clientelle, were are they supost to go .keep the history of the pub going don't take that away .there's enough sports bars scattered around grimsby and cleethorpes .
My dad used to take me in here after a few at spoon such a great atmosphere when he passed last year we had a plaque put up just near the bar. It would be a great shame and loss to see the change into a pointless sports bar
I totally disagree to this pub being changed why change this traditional pub which has been so popular for such a long time. There is plenty of sport bars around town area, Grimsby needs to keep traditional pubs like this as we don’t have many
The Tiv is a pivottel part of a community which is being torn apart and demoralised! Within a stones throw there is a sports bar, a couple of doors down there is a bar which closed! Use that! Keep this important and special place as it is!

Started going in The Tiv in 1975 , when ever in Grimsby always call in it's like going home. I do not have a bad word for anyone who as ever drank or works there. Leave this great pub alone.

Like we need another sports bar its nice to be able to sit in a pub and here each other talk and interact. Gd pub great staff and gd beer. Leave it how it is last real pub specially for lot of the old gents theres a bookies few doors up dnt need a sport bar ty
