This petition has been created as the residents of Lawnhurst avenue are constantly facing turmoil and distress regarding bad traffic management, thoughtless planning and unhelpful staff at Transport for Greater Manchester and its third party contractors. Lawnhust Avenue has a single entry/exit point for over two hundred properties and this is being compromised due to the Manchester Airport Metrolink Extension. Many residents have left their homes and rented them out, working families are frequently late dropping their children off at school and many parents have faced the degrading warnings from their employer about lateness. ALL BECAUSE OF TFGM !! As a last resort to the on-going nightmare we have chosen to highlight are concerns and anger via this petition. We have been extremely patient during the work on Moor Rd however we now want a greater control over traffic management and seek compensation for the disruption caused.
