it should be the same for cats as it is for dogs and be reported: they are both household family pets.
I lost my cat one week ago in a car park someone ran her over a old woman come and knocked the door to ask if it was my cat
definately agree to this. families are heart broken for weeks looking for their much loved pets.. this would save alot of heart ache.
I think this should go for any animal hit. People should take responsibility for their actions and not just drive on.
I have lost three cats on roads and only knew about it when I or a neighbour found their bodies.

We know more and more that cats aren't just wild animals. We have close bonds with them and they deserve our love and respect
it should be the same for cats as it is for dogs and be reported: they are both household family pets.
