I have been hearing from so many of you who spent months wondering about a missing pet because a quick scan could have provided answers. My heart breaks for every family still waiting for closure while I continue pushing council offices to adopt this simple policy change.

Seeing this grow so quickly reminds me of the nights I spent searching for my own cat without any answers. This momentum proves that no family should have to endure that silence when a simple scan could bring them peace.

Takes 2 seconds to scan the chip. Why is this not already mandatory???
Common sense really. Councils need to stop being lazy and do the right thing for pet owners.
Just scan them. Its so simple and helps so many people get some peace of mind.
My cat went missing 2 years ago and I still check the road everytime I drive past the spot. It would mean the world to just know.
Lost my boy last month and the not knowing is the worst part. RIP Milo.

So heartbreaking to think of them just being dumped. Please make this happen.
