This petition is to demand that the Department of the Interior, United States of America, require Dr. John A. Latschar, Superintendent, GNMP, to honor his announcement to resign, regardless of the fact that he is no longer able to accept the position as president of the Gettysburg Foundation. Furthermore, We the People, strongly request that the DOI replace Dr. Latschar with an honorable person who will work with the local communities, municipal governments and businesses in a harmonious way, in stark contrast to Dr. Latschar's tenure.
