I met with legal counsel yesterday to draft a formal request for the Board of Trustees to review the conduct of Finis St John. We are currently compiling the documentation required for a full investigation into his recent actions.

The scale of this response confirms that our formal demand for resignation has gained institutional attention. I am currently coordinating with legal counsel to draft the official letter of delivery to the Board of Trustees.

you have a prejudice against Birmingham and UAB therefore you should resign from the UA Board of Trustees.
We have had enough of Finis St John IV intefering with the growth of UAB football. It's time for him to resign from his position on the UA Board of Trustees due to his blatant conflict of interest.
This man is openly hostile to any non-medicine-related program at UAB. He does not believe UAB students are entitled to a robust undergraduate experience. He just wants to keep milking the cash cow. He is unfit to serve.
Mr. St. John should remove himself and his Tuscaloosa-centered mindset from the BoT.
Because of the continued lack of trust exhibited by and for his willful harming and intentional neglect of UAB Athletics especially Football we ask that Finis St. John, IV resign as trustee of the UAS immediately

overstepping his authority. And needlessly at that. Brian Mackin on record saying he killed the million dollar donation to the practice field.
