We implore the Park Service to reconsider their views on public acces after dark. We understand the concern over the damage. However we feel that gates and increased patrols will not address the issue. Gates and patrols will increase park costs, but will have little impact on keeping out those bent on damaging property. The park is huge and many hiding places. We the undersigned feel that a public presence until 10 PM is more of a deterrent than closing the gates. Thus we ask that the park stays open until 10 PM.
