Larry Lee Anderson, 61, of Charleston went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 14, 2011, at Hubbard Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. As a professional musician, Larry specialized in the steel guitar. He played with a variety of bands, locally, regionally and nationally, including appearances on the Grand Ole Opry and Hee Haw. In 1991 and 1992, Country Plus Magazine recognized Larry as one of the top steel players in the country. Larry has touched the lives of so many people. There aren't very many musicians around here who don't hear the name Larry Anderson and fill up with pride to be a West Virginian. I think we owe it to him to honor the man , and the legend to be apart of West Virginia music history forever. Please take the time to sign this petition to try and get the West Virginia Music Fall Of Fame to recognize and make Larry Anderson one of their next inductees.
