The board officially agreed to put the expansion back on the agenda for a second vote. I am worn out from the pushback but relieved that we finally reached this result. Keep an eye on the upcoming meeting notices so we make sure the turnout stays strong.

Final supporters
On Wednesday May 25th the annual meeting of the Lakes At Red Rocks Board was held. One of the agenda items was to vote on the Clubhouse Expansion Project. The project was not approved, and missed by ONE vote. As a concerned resident, I'd like to collect signatures in favor of asking the Board for a re-vote. This would mean re-distribution of the plans and proxies and adding it to the agenda for one of the meetings this summer.

The phone calls with board members have been draining and progress feels painfully slow. I am exhausted by the constant pushback but I refuse to let this project die because of a single misplaced vote.

Yes!! This will only increase the value of our homes. They are not asking to increase our dues, just how to spend them.
My wife and I had given our proxy for the expansion to Catherine Paine prior to leaving on vacation in France during the voting period. I've been unable to confirm that she used it. Please add me to the "For" list.
L@RR housing prices have not kept up w/ prices in Potomac Station. An expanded clubhouse will increase the value of our neighborhood.
Can you please post visual images of the proposed renovation so it's easy for people with busy travel / work / kid schedules to see? I didn't read about a virtual option, only in person views which was not possible for me.
