I worked at the community centre for 15 years working as a Youth worker and also on the play scheme during school breaks. I also live in the area for 53 years Surrey Lane ..
Gentrification should not come at the cost of a communities heritage and culture
My grandparents came to this country and fought very hard for what they had. It would be a shame for this to end, we need to pass this down to the next generation
I grew up on plough road and would love to be able to give something back to the community that helped me to become the man that I am today.
Honour The Elders that raised a community without racism. Local residents of this generation are so disconnected from the cultural history of Lara and the local area.
