We, the residents of Kenmore & Weyburn Road and the surrounding community in Lotus River, Ward 65, respectfully submit this petition to request the closure of the access lane in Kenmore Road from Klip Road, Lotus River. This request is based on numerous community consultations and feedback, highlighting significant concerns related to safety, crime, and environmental issues associated with the access lane.

Reaching this point has been an exhausting climb but seeing this much support for our safety makes the work worth it. I am tired of the daily risks on our roads yet your commitment gives me enough strength to keep pushing forward.

Please close this lane as our residents have hell with criminals being aware of this lane being their easy escape.It also poses a big risk to our elderly residents living in Kenmore and Weyburn as well as first avenue.We have 3 entrances and exits and the lane is not used by the residents at all
The crime rate has spiked significantly in the area and the lane is part of the reason we have singed petitions over and over I hope this time it works
It's tiring having to keep watching over your shoulder whenever you're out of the house, even when you're in the house you always have to keep checking the surrounding to check if these bastards are not trying to force themselves inside your place, we work hard to try and secure and better future for ourselves but we keep going back and forth because of them.
This has been a problem for years, criminals using kenmore rd as a walk through, escape route from klip rd
Signing for the closure of the lane for our roads safety. All the riff raff is entering to cause break ins and theft in our area.

I have been harrassed by the drug addicts since moving in in 2001. This would really be a plus for our community
