If you skate / ride in the Lancaster area you will know that the concrete parks are dark, wet and too cold to use most of the time. I am planning on building an indoor skate park as close to Lancaster's city centre as possible but I need to know whether it will be worthwhile building. Please print and sign your name if you want this project to go ahead. If you want it to be built but don't sign it, I may not get enough names and would have to re-consider the plans, so please sign it. I will be presenting the petition to the princes trust when I apply for the grant that I will need in order to fund the project.
Seeing the community rally behind this idea gives me so much hope that we can finally move past skating in the freezing rain. This momentum proves that I am not the only one in Lancaster tired of these dark streets.

Concrete parks are always soaking wet or covered in leaves. Such a waste of time. Indoor is the only way.

Skateboarding isnt a crime but it is hard when you have nowhere to go when it rains. hope this gets the funding it needs.

My son has been wanting a place to go ride his bmx for ages. This would be brilliant for the area.
