I was looking at the plans for the area again and it really strikes me how much empty space there is while the kids in this village have absolutely nowhere to go. I have been spending my evenings drafting emails to the local council because someone actually needs to listen to us for a change even though it feels like shouting into the void sometimes.

Finally! The kids here have absolutely nothing to do and nowhere to go. About time someone built something useful.
Need this built now. The current park in leyland is just a joke tbh.
It keeps kids off the street and out of trouble. Good idea.
My son is always complaining about having to travel so far just to skate. It would be great to have something local for them.
TOTALY AGREE. we need this skatepark asap for the village or they are just gonna keep riding on the pavement which is dangerous for eveyone.

Bout time we got some proper facilities in buckshaw. Sick of seeing them hanging round the shops because there is nowhere else.
