We, the members of this community, are uniting to express our wholehearted support for the opening of La Escuelita Spanish Immersion Preschool. This school is poised to be a beacon of educational innovation, offering a dual language immersion program that promises to foster bilingualism and biliteracy in our children.

La Escuelita is dedicated to creating a nurturing learning environment that addresses the academic, social, and emotional needs of young learners. For Spanish-speaking children, the school serves as a cultural haven, allowing them to retain and celebrate their native language and traditions. English-speaking children will benefit from a strong foundation in Spanish, gaining exposure to diverse cultural practices, which is an invaluable resource in today’s global society.

Here are a few things about our school

First Dual Spanish Immersion childcare in the Southwest

First to accept childcare subsidies for underprivileged children

First to earn a Four Star Rating from Texas Rising Star demonstrating an excellence for quality childcare

The City of Dallas has already passed an ordinance not to require a Special Use Permit for childcare’s in the City because there’s such a need for children under 5 and working families. (Unfortunately I do because we’re in a planned development) There are 93,000 children under 5 in Dallas, there are only 35,000 seats available right now in licensed childcare’s. We align with the city’s vision of supporting families and children.

This petition advocates for the integration of La Escuelita Spanish Immersion Preschool into our educational offerings, emphasizing the importance of multilingual capabilities in the personal and professional lives of our children.

By signing, community members are not only showing their enthusiasm for this initiative but also urging local authorities to recognize the value of such an institution and approve its inception.

The city keeps moving the goalposts on our permit even though their own ordinances favor opening more childcare spots. Email your local city representative today and demand they honor the city mission to support working families.

We hit a major milestone today and the momentum shows that our neighborhood is ready for this school. Post this link to your Facebook page right now so we can keep the pressure on our local representatives. Send a text to three neighbors telling them why we need this childcare option.

This would be a wonderful opportunity for our children. I was in a bilingual program when I was in school and I loved it.

La Escuelita Spanish Immersion School is the exact type of learning experience and environment needed in our area of Dallas. Please approve their permit so more students can access their exceptional educational setting.

La Escuelita has been such a positive experience since the start of my daughter’s learning experience in school. The amount of growth my daughter has gained with La Escuelita has been over and beyond joyful and exceptional and is setting the tone for her future. Speaking first-hand experience all that La Escuelita does is done with excellence and is needed in our community to be able to give more children the same opportunity.

La escuelita spanish immersion is a great school. It changed my daughter's education. Jessica does wonders with her teaching. For this my daughter is now in advance classes and in tag at her disd school. I plead for this cause and hope in my heart the petitions are heard.

As a parent, I have seen firsthand the transformative impact of bilingual education on children's cognitive development, linguistic skills, and cultural awareness. There is no place like La Escuelita! Thank you for empowering our children to learn, grow, and thrive.

There no difference then the one on Ledbetter between Westmoreland and Altoona, where she manages it from her house.
