We, the members of this community, are uniting to express our wholehearted support for the opening of La Escuelita Spanish Immersion Preschool. This school is poised to be a beacon of educational innovation, offering a dual language immersion program that promises to foster bilingualism and biliteracy in our children.

La Escuelita is dedicated to creating a nurturing learning environment that addresses the academic, social, and emotional needs of young learners. For Spanish-speaking children, the school serves as a cultural haven, allowing them to retain and celebrate their native language and traditions. English-speaking children will benefit from a strong foundation in Spanish, gaining exposure to diverse cultural practices, which is an invaluable resource in today’s global society.

Here are a few things about our school

First Dual Spanish Immersion childcare in the Southwest

First to accept childcare subsidies for underprivileged children

First to earn a Four Star Rating from Texas Rising Star demonstrating an excellence for quality childcare

The City of Dallas has already passed an ordinance not to require a Special Use Permit for childcare’s in the City because there’s such a need for children under 5 and working families. (Unfortunately I do because we’re in a planned development) There are 93,000 children under 5 in Dallas, there are only 35,000 seats available right now in licensed childcare’s. We align with the city’s vision of supporting families and children.

This petition advocates for the integration of La Escuelita Spanish Immersion Preschool into our educational offerings, emphasizing the importance of multilingual capabilities in the personal and professional lives of our children.

By signing, community members are not only showing their enthusiasm for this initiative but also urging local authorities to recognize the value of such an institution and approve its inception.
