To Dave Moughalian and Myles Tanaka of The Art Institute of NYC, We, students and hearts of The Art Institute of NYC, would like to request the chance to express our belief through this petition. We collected these signatures as a symbolic gesture that could illustrate our strong desire to maintain Krista Svalbonas as our mentor for Portfolio Prep class. We have created both an online petition, for graduate students, and a printed version for those who are still at AI. Those who had a chance of having her as their mentor for this class have joined us to help us get the same opportunity as they did. These students have stated how enriching her guidance was for them and how they were able to surpass their own expectations and limits. Those know Krista Svalbonas are aware that she is highly qualified and very passionate about this class and we believe in her competency and love for design and her students. Having her help us through this crucial step in our career would be extremely rewarding and honorable, since our portfolio is our key to the competitive graphic design market. It is the tool, which we will use to sell ourselves out there. This is why we hope you have listened to our message not only with your hearts but with the mind of a designer that knows how important this step it. Thank you for your time and attention.
