Dear Neighbors,

Starting Monday September 11, new rules and regulations regarding parking throughout the neighborhood will go into effect. The new rules prohibit parking on the street directly across from a driveway. Looking at a map of the neighborhood, this rule does not fairly allow for street parking for all neighbors. Residents who live on Belgrave Pl, Luke Lane, and Maxwell are completely restricted from parking on the streets at all. While residents on Harrington Way, Albert, and Cromwell have no parking restrictions and can park on both sides of the street. This decision, made by a majority vote of the Board, was intended to encourage neighbors to park in their driveway or garage instead of on the street. However, this does not take into account day to day activities, such as having family or friends over to your home.

We are asking for neighbors to sign the petition to revoke this rule and replace it with something that is fair for all neighbors. According to Bylaws, we need 50% of 348 homes. Please make sure to include your address when signing. Thank you!

The Board clearly expected us to roll over and accept their arbitrary rules for the neighborhood. Our momentum is proving them dead wrong and showing that we refuse to let these bureaucrats ignore our basic rights.

51136 Hallfield - parking on only the non-fire hydrant side of the streets might be more equitable.

I oppose the parking regulations requiring guests including my elderly parents to park a block away from my house. Who are the people who made this rule?

I don't understand how, out of concern for fairness, the association moved from the park-on-one-side-of-the-street idea to a all-parking-on-certain-streets and no-parking-on-other-streets. That is more stupid, not more fair. There are some folks who, in response to this, are now parking three cars on their driveway and front walk. I don't think our amateur association fully thought out the effect this would have.

The parking restriction wouldn't work for many of the Belgrave residents. It's restrictive and very inconvenient during the rainy and snowy days for those that have kids and have to park away from their houses

This is completely unfair. The streets are narrow yes however if you take time and park correctly and pull out your driveway with care their should be no problems

The board represents a subdivision they certainly did not represent the subdivision by making such a huge change without letting the people they represent vote on it
