We are requesting signatures for removal of the current requirement to place trash bins in garages. It will be up to the HOA on guidelines of storage but we will aim to have bins on the side of houses. We understand there is concern over trash spillage from winds knocking bins over, creating pollution in the neighborhood and resulting in an aesthetic issue that could incur costs to the HOA. We would request a 3 month period to track community cleanliness. If removal of bin-in-garage rule results in extra clean-up to the community, we will review the negative impact and vote on this issue in October 1, 2023.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many neighbors feel the same way about this. It is clear that this is a community effort driven entirely by your willingness to speak up.

Stinking up the whole garage in the summer heat is just gross. Keep them outside.
The bins take up way too much room in the garage. My car barely fits as it is. This rule really needs to change.
I agree with not storing trash cans in the garage. We’ve never had trash on our street from others trash cans. Only trash I’ve witness hitting the street is from the trash company not getting it all in the truck and driving off.
I approve having the trashcans outside the garage. I'd also be ok needing to have an enclosure when cans are not out at the curb.
I approve of the proposal to remove the HOA rule of keeping garbage bins in the garage
Trash Cans should be allowed to stay on driveway and not inside garage.
I am in for keeping the trash bins outside the garage

Does anyone know what password I need to enter to sign the petition? It’s not accepting the password I use to log onto the site.
