Watching the comments section fill up with childhood memories of Keith playing at Shea Stadium reminds me why I started this project in the first place. His defensive impact on the game was truly elite and he belongs in Cooperstown regardless of the current committee bias.

Seeing this level of support for Keith makes me realize I am not the only one who remembers the pure magic he brought to the diamond every single day. The momentum behind this feels incredible and proves that his legacy deserves more than just a passing glance.

best defensive first baseman ever. just check his stats. revolutionized how to play the position. team leader, team captain with the mets baseball writers grudges and bias kept him out of cooperstown.

Look at the gold gloves. 11 of them. Case closed.
How is he not in already?? Best fielder at first base in history by a mile. Nobody played the position like him.

He most definitely deserve’s to be in the Hall Of Fame. He changed the way first base is played outstanding glove work!!! Let’s reward him for his play on the field not for his mistakes off the field!!! #17
