This is a petition calling on Bud Selig and Major League Baseball to reinstate Pete Rose ending his lifetime ban from baseball and allow him to be voted into the hall of fame.
Pete Rose is one of the most hard nosed players of all time and arguably the greatest player of his generation. Pete Rose is baseball. He has long since paid his dues for his error in judgment. He deserves to have the opportunity to be voted into the hall of fame in his lifetime.

The silence from the league office remains frustrating while I continue to press for an actual conversation. Exhaustion is setting in but the history of the game belongs in the hall regardless of these stubborn politics.

Pete's betting while he was a manager was wrong BUT, it has nothing to do with the way he played the game with is all out commitment to win. This was a great example to many young people, myself included, that if you are committed and give your all great things can happen. This is a work ethic that should be shown as an example. I believe that Pete is worthy of our forgiveness.

please allow this greater legend of baseball back in. There are so many athletes that have done so much worse than this man that have been allowed to return to their sport, give him a chance.
